Only Motorcycle in the Segment With an E-Clutch

The Honda CBR650R is the only bike in its segment to feature the E-Clutch system. The system uses servo motors mounted on a redesigned casing to assist in gear shifting and to engage the clutch automatically when the motorcycle is stationary. This helps reduce rider fatigue in stop-and-go traffic.

Only Bike in the Segment With an Inline-four Engine

Powering the CBR650R is a 649cc, inline-four-cylinder engine that produces 94bhp and 63Nm of torque. The engine is refined for the most part and has a strong midrange. It also has a linear power delivery, which makes it friendly.

Sharp Design

The Honda CBR650R has a sharp and aggressive design. From the twin LED headlights to the sport fairing and the mildly upswept rear, it looks like a proper supersport. The bike continues to be offered in two colours — Grand Prix Red and Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic.

Simple and Friendly Chassis

The bike uses a steel frame with a Showa SFF-BP USD fork at the front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking duties, meanwhile, are handled by twin 310mm discs up front and a single disc at the rear.
